**** Amherst Police Release
Amherst Police are investigating a report of an accident that occurred on Thursday September 19th 2024 shortly before 5:00pm.
The incident occurred on South Albion Street near the intersection of Chamberlain and may have involved an older model Toyota Corolla and a person on a scooter. Both parties left the scene of the accident. It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured.
Police are looking for any witnesses to the incident or any information that may provide information in regards to the circumstances or persons involved.
