Traffic Delay – Remembrance Day Parade in Halifax

Location: Beginning and ending at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic parking lot

Date: Monday, Nov. 11

Time: 10 a.m. to noon

Details: This is to facilitate the Remembrance Day parade in Halifax.

Traffic impact: The parade will begin at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic parking lot, will move right onto Lower Water Street, left on George Street, left on Hollis Street, move left onto Sackville Street, continue left on to Lower Water Street and finish at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic parking lot.

Traffic delays are expected as the parade travels through the parade route. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Location: Beginning at Shoppers Drug Mart, 315 Herring Cove Road and ending at the Spryfield Legion, 7 Sussex Street

Date: Monday, Nov. 11

Time: 10:40 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.

Details: This is to facilitate the Remembrance Day parade in Spryfield.

Traffic impact: The parade will begin at the Shoppers Drug Mart, 315 Herring Cove Road, right on Herring Cove Road, left onto Sussex Street and finish at the Spryfield Legion, 7 Sussex Street.

Traffic delays are expected as the parade travels through the parade route. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Location: Beginning and ending at Cole Harbour District High

Date: Monday, Nov. 11

Time: 10:30 a.m. to noon

Details: This is to facilitate the Remembrance Day parade in Cole Harbour.

Traffic impact: The parade will begin at Cole Harbour District High School, turn right on Chameau Crescent, right on Forest Hills Parkway, right into Cole Harbour Place where a service will be held until 11:30 a.m. Parade will continue through the same route, finishing at Cole Harbour District High.

Traffic delays are expected as the parade travels through the parade route. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Details: This is to facilitate the Remembrance Day parade in Waverley

Traffic impact: The parade will begin at 2145 Rocky Lake Drive, left onto Rocky Lake Drive, and finishing at the Waverley Legion, Dieppe 90.

Traffic delays are expected as the parade travels through the parade route. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Traffic impact: The parade will begin at the Cobequid Road transit terminal, proceed down Memory Lane and return the same route, finishing at Cobequid Road transit terminal.
