Police Investigate serious collision in Halifax

On August 30th, 2020 at 8:40pm a car was travelling eastbound on Leiblin Dr, Halifax in the area of Birchfield Cres when it left the road a collided with a tree.​ There were three occupants in the vehicle.​

A man and a woman were taken to hospital with serious injuries and a third woman was checked at the scene and released.​ Currently members of the Accident Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section are on the scene and are continuing to investigate the accident.

Leiblin Dr is currently closed between Carnation Cres and Avon Cres.​ Investigators are expected to be on scene for several hours.​ An update will be sent when the street is reopened.

​Update: Halifax Regional Police wishes to advised the public that Leiblin Dr in Halifax has reopened.​ We would like to thank the public for it’s patience while the accident at this location was being investigated.​ The investigation surrounding the accident in ongoing and updates will be provided as they become available.
