Update: Police make arrests in shooting

Halifax Regional Police has arrested four people in relation to a shooting that occurred in Dartmouth early this morning.

At approximately 5:40 a.m. officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Booth Street. Officers located a residence in the area that had been struck. There are no reported injuries.

Officers located the suspect vehicle near Bras Dor Lane in Dartmouth. Four people were arrested at a residence at that location.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.

Bras Dor Lane in Dartmouth is closed to traffic, and we are asking the public to remain away from the area as officers continue to investigate.
