Update – Police Investigate Vehicle Collision with utility pole

At 9:10 a.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report of a Motor Vehicle Collision where a vehicle struck a utility pole in the 300 block of Portland Street Dartmouth, knocking the power out in the area.  No one was injured, however electrical lines are down blocking the roads.  The electrical lines and roadway have been cleared.

Update: Portland Street has been reopened.
