Did you know in 2023 we intervened on behalf of over 4500 animals across Nova Scotia?
April is the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. Our Enforcement Officers receive reports of animals in need of help every day. And their help can come in a variety of ways: education, arranging for food, water, or medical treatment, or taking a pet into protective custody.
They see images no one wants to see. However, they know the difference they make in a pet’s life, drawing from their dedication and passion for being a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves.
No act of neglect is too small. Education, spreading awareness and reporting are all important steps everyone can take to help. So, if you see something, say something. For more information, visit www.novascotiaspca.ca/animalcruelty/.
