RCMP investigates fatal two vehicle collision
RCMP is investigating a fatal two vehicle collision that occurred yesterday on Hwy. 1, Mount Uniacke.
At 2:45 p.m. on August 16, the RCMP, EHS and East Hants Fire Service responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Hwy 1 between South Rawdon Rd. and East Uniacke Rd. The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old man from Windsor, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the car incurred apparent non-life threatening injuries and the passenger was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing. An RCMP Collision Analyst attended, and the highway was closed for several hours. It has since re-opened.
