Richmond County District RCMP charge man with sexual offences

Richmond County District RCMP has charged a River Bourgeois man with sexual offences and investigators believe there may be additional victims.

On March 8, Richmond County District RCMP charged a 19-year-old man of French Cove with multiple offences as part of an investigation into reports of child pornography and sexual touching.

Throughout the investigation, officers learned that the man had sexual contacts with minors as well as created and distributed child pornography.

As a result, Seth Boudreau has been charged with:

  • Possession of Child Pornography;
  • Sexual Interference;
  • Luring a Child (two counts);
  • Extortion (two counts);
  • Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to Child (two counts).

Boudreau was arrested on December 28, 2023 and released on conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on April 11 at 9:30 a.m.

The investigation is continuing, and investigators believe that there may be more victims.
