A late night fire has destroyed a portion of the Bloomfield Centre in Halifax
Fire crews remain on scene and part of the building has collapsed. Police continue to keep the roads in the area closed.
No word on the cause of the fire

Traffic Advisory via HRP
Police are assisting Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency at the scene of a structure fire in the 2700 block of Agricola Street
The following roads are currently shut down to all traffic: Robie Street between Almon Street and May Street and Agricola Street between Almon Street and McCully Street
Traffic restrictions are expected to remain in place throughout the morning.
Please use alternate routes to avoid delays
