Police on scene at weapons call
Halifax Regional Police are currently on scene at a weapons call in Dartmouth.
At approximately 03:10 AM hours, police received a call of possible gun shots, officers arrived on scene in the area of Catherine Street and Lahey Road in Dartmouth, and located evidence of a shooting.
1 person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
Members of the Integrated General Investigation unit, and the Forensic Identification Unit are on scene investigating the matter.
Traffic in the area is restricted at this time.
The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available.
