Kings District RCMP charge man in threats investigation
Kings District RCMP has charged a man in a threats investigation in Wolfville.
On August 8, 2023, Kings District RCMP received a report of threats from Acadia University, concerning a 52-year-old man, threatening to cause harm to an employee. RCMP officers began investigating the incident and on August 11, RCMP officers safely arrested the man.
Rick Mehta, 52, of Coldbrook, has been charged with Uttering Threats (3 counts). He was released on conditions and will appear in Kentville Provincial Court on October 24, 2023.
The investigation remains ongoing.
