Pictou District RCMP want to thank these concerned motorists
Several concerned motorists called the RCMP to report speeding drivers, and members of Pictou District were more than happy to help and want to thank everyone who reported these drivers. Shortly before 9 a.m. on July 18, Pictou District RCMP responded to a call of a group of eastbound vehicles racing on Hwy. 104. The callers told police the vehicles appeared to be high-end sports cars that appeared to be travelling as a group. Pictou District RCMP members stopped six drivers for speed-related offences and one for a lane infraction, between Broadway and Barney’s River.
The responding RCMP officers were thanked by several passing motorists who stopped to thank police, and also by several who honked and gave a thumbs-up to police as they drove by.
