NATAL DAY CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER (SATURDAY AUGUST 5 2023)

Due to the unfavorable weather forecast, risk of lightening most of the day and the very wet conditions, the Halifax Regional Municipality and Natal Day organizers have made the decision to postpone the Natal Day Halifax Harbour Fireworks until Sunday, August 6th at 10:00 pm. Join us for the annual Natal Day Harbour Fireworks on Sunday evening.

Also, the Halifax Regional Municipality and the Dartmouth Sunshine Series Events team has made the decision to cancel the Charlie A ‘Court Blues Concert on Saturday, August 5th. Due to the unfavorable weather forecast, risk of lightening most of the day and the very wet conditions; it will not be rescheduled.

However, as additional details on the 2023 Halifax – Dartmouth Natal Day Program become available the information will be up-dated throughout the next three weeks. This will include information on additional program elements, concerts, family programs and sporting activities.

Free Ferry Serivce will be taking place on Saturday August 5th, 2023, donations to Feed NS will be collected in lieu of fares. Keep an eye out for Feed NS Volunteers!  (Please Note: Only the Alderney ferry will be running since it’s the weekend. )
