Total rainfall: 20 to 40 mm except 60 or more locally.
Locations: Halifax Metro and Halifax County West.
Time span: tapering off this morning.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
