(Update) Increased Risk of Landslide in Walker Road area of Chester

REMO is currently working with residents on Walker Road in Chester to voluntarily evacuate due to the destabilization of the trail above their homes. A geotechnical engineer will assess the stability of the slope later this evening (July 27) to determine if there is potential that the condition of slope will deteriorate. If a mandatory evacuation is needed, we will know by 7:30 p.m. today (July 27). Please avoid the area. A map of the affected area is below.
