July is #PetHydrationAwarenessMonth, so make sure your pet is getting enough to drink by:

???? Having access to clean, fresh water
???? Being prepared with their own water bottle or bowl
???? Knowing the signs of dehydration

REMINDER: As the temperature rises, don’t leave pets unattended in vehicles on warm days.

If you see a pet in immediate distress, call 911. If you spot an animal in a warm vehicle that is not in distress, call 902.490.5020 and take directions from the call taker.

People who leave their pet in an unattended vehicle & in distress circumstances are subject to fines. No more excuses, no more pets in hot cars!
