Halifax Regional Police is investigating a report of suspicious circumstances that occurred earlier this week in Dartmouth.

On June 26, police received a report of suspicious circumstances that had occurred between 3:50 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. on June 25 at Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth. A man appeared to be following different groups of female youths, who were not known to him, throughout the mall. In one incident, the man came close to two female youths and made an inappropriate comment that appeared to be directed at the youths. The youths did the right thing and later reported the incident to a trusted adult.

The suspect is described as a white man, 45 to 55 years old, clean shaven, with a heavy build, wearing a blue collared-shirt, tan cargo shorts, black strapped sandals and a blue or black baseball cap with white writing on the front. The man left the mall in an older model vehicle (10-15 years old), possibly a Subaru Forrester.
