Police lay charges in two arsons
Police have charged a man in relation to two arsons that occurred in Halifax this morning.
At approximately 4:10 a.m. police along with Halifax Fire and Emergency responded to a report of a fire in the 5600 block of Spring Garden Road. Two separate fires of a planter and an advertising sign were located in the area and quickly extinguished. A suspect was arrested in the area a short time later.
Allan Robert Patrick, 41, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face two counts of arson.
