Police investigating stabbing in Dartmouth

Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating a stabbing that occurred this morning in Dartmouth.

At approximately​ 8:20 a.m. Halifax Regional Police patrol members responded to a report of a male who had been stabbed​ on the roadway on Renfrew Street in Dartmouth.​ Officers located an​ 18-year-old male suffering from a stab wound. The male was transported to hospital with serious injuries.​ ​

The suspects are described as a white male and black male, both in their late teens- early 20’s. The suspects are believed to have​ fled the area in a small black, four door car. Investigators believe this is not a random incident. Police remain on-scene.
