Police investigate shooting in Dartmouth.

On July 12, 2020 at approximately 1:11 a.m. a 23 year old male arrived at the Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation. ​ Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the area of Lahey Road, Dartmouth.

Police investigate shooting in Halifax.

On July 12, 2020 at approximately​ 5:20 a.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a shooting that had occurred in the 3500 block of Lynch Street in Halifax.

Police attended a residence in the area​ and located a 31-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The man was transported to hospital for treatment. Police remain at the scene. The incident is not believed to be random.

The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.​ ​
