Woman charged following collision

 Halifax District RCMP charge a 64-year-old woman following a collision involving a motorcycle and a SUV.

At 5:35 p.m. on July 2, Halifax District RCMP responded to a collision on Fall River Rd. in Fall River. The northbound SUV was turning left and a motorcycle which was travelling southbound struck the SUV.

The driver of the motorcycle, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS. The driver of the SUV was not injured.

The driver of the SUV was charged under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act for Failing to Yield When Making Left Turn on Highway.

The investigation is ongoing.
