Annapolis District RCMP investigating fatal crash
Annapolis District RCMP is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Parker Mountain Rd. in Parkers Cove.
On December 5, 2022, at approximately 5 a.m., Annapolis District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Parker Mountain Rd. in Parkers Cove. RCMP officers learned that a Mazda CX-30 had been travelling on Parker Mountain Rd. when it left the roadway, struck a ditch and came to rest in a driveway.
The driver and sole occupant, a 42-year-old Parkers Cove man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Parker Mountain Rd. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
