Update: Fatal collision
Police are providing an update on the fatal vehicle pedestrian collision that occurred in Dartmouth last night.
At approximately 8:10 p.m. officers responded to a vehicle pedestrian collision in the area of the 500 block of Main Street. A 62-year-old man who was crossing Main Street between Golf View Drive and Forest Hills Parkway was struck by a vehicle headed inbound to Dartmouth. The man died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Investigators with the Collision Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate the incident.
