BoxHot Glow Sticks Battery recalled due to fire hazard

Issue

The Glow Sticks Battery can overheat while charging, posing burn and fire hazards.

 

As of October 17, 2022, the company has received 4 reports of the batteries overheating during charging, resulting in minor property damage with no injuries reported in Canada.

Affected products

This recall involves the BoxHot Glow Sticks stand-alone 510 thread vape batteries that are sold with a micro-USB charging cable in the package. The model numbers affected are MLL002 and MLL009 (UPC: 848876000881).

 

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected product and contact Motif Labs Ltd. to arrange a return.

Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
