Police investigate​ stabbing

Police are investigating a​ stabbing​ that occurred Saturday night in Halifax.

On October 9th at approximately 12:55​ a.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 0-100 block of Sussex Street, Halifax. Police attended and were originally not able to locate a victim or suspect. The scene was contained for processing by the Forensic Identification Section. The victim was later located at his residence with what are believed to be​ non-life-threatening injuries.​ There is no suspect description at this time.

The investigation is in the early stages,​ Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating the incident. Anyone with information or video from the area in relation to this incident is asked to call 902-490-5020.
