Curbside Give Away Weekend is back!
FREE yourself of clutter and find some great FREE items of your own during Curbside Give Away Weekend on October 15 & 16. This event takes place rain or shine all across the municipality.
Put your unwanted household items at the curb during the weekend clearly marked as “FREE” and have fun finding something new to you.
Have something to give away? Post it in this event to let others know.
Some items you can put at the curb:
– books, movies, and music
– furniture and small appliances
– sports equipment and toys
– tools
– yard and gardening equipment
– kitchen gadgets, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans
– unwanted gifts
– construction material including drywall and hardware
– electronics
– clothing
– paint
– holiday decorations
Practice good curbside etiquette:
– Items should be clean and in reusable condition
– Place signs on items with the word “FREE”
– Any items you want to keep should be away from the curb or brought inside to avoid confusion
– Material must be removed from the curb by dusk Sunday evening
– Take only items at the curb marked “FREE”
– Safety First: Obey traffic laws at all times
