A search for a missing youth off Waverley Rd ended happily earlier this morning.
Police were asking the public’s help in locating a missing 11-year-old Halifax youth. HRFE with a boat and drone along with EHS joined the search.
A short time later the youth, who was described by police as a non-verbal Autistic youth, was found on a kayak close to shore on Lake Charles. A check over from emergency crews and family reunion happened a short time later.
