Missing person: Help the RCMP find Donald “Don” Archer

Update: Missing person found deceased

The 66-year old person who was reported missing from Shelburne on June 12 has been located deceased.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance and retweets on social media. The investigation into the death is continuing, foul play is not suspected.

Shelburne RCMP is asking for assistance from the public to help locate 66-year-old Donald “Don” Archer, who has been missing since​ 2:00 p.m.​ on June 12.​

Don Archer is described as white,​ 5-foot-4 and​ 120 pounds, with a slim build. He has​ short grey/white hair, a short, and a scruffy beard. Don Archer was last seen wearing a green-brown jacket with a black hood, blue jeans, and dark blue sneakers. Police and Archer’s family are concerned for his safety.

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.
