The Maritime Fire Chiefs Association is hosting the 2022 Atlantic Fire Leadership Conference is in Halifax where fire personnel from NS, PEI, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador will gather for three days of seminars and conferences and vendors showing modern and updated gear.
A memorial was held for the memory of fallen firefighters which involved the ringing of a ceremonial bell and placing of ceremonial helmets.
This conference allows fire leadership to come together yearly, exchanging and expanding on fire services.
Halifax Chief Stuebing was among many speakers at an opening ceremony welcoming all to the event, including Premier Houston and Mayor Mike Savage.
