Police investigate robbery

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred  in Halifax.

At 5:20 a.m. on March 27, 2022, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Irving gas station at 173 Herring Cove Road. A man entered the store and demanded money. The suspect then fled the store with a quantity of cash. There were no weapons observed and the employee was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a man, 5’6” with a thin build and wearing a checkered jacket and blue face mask.
