Police investigate thefts

Police are investigating eight incidents of theft from a grocery store in Dartmouth and are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect.

Between January 16 and March 6, police have received eight reports of a man entering the Atlantic Superstore on Braemar Drive and stealing groceries.​

The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties to thirties with short dark hair. At the time of the incidents, the man was wearing a black coat, a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Investigators are asking anyone with information in relation to the incidents or the identity of the suspect to call police at 902-490-5016.​ Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at​ www.crimestoppers.ns.ca​ or by using the P3 Tips app.
