RCMP investigating Fatal house fire in St. Croix
West Hants RCMP, EHS and Fire Services from Brooklyn, Windsor, and Hantsport responded to a structure fire yesterday afternoon on Davis Road in St. Croix.
At 5:30 p.m. February 25, West Hants RCMP responded with EHS and several local fire services to a house fire on Davis Road in St. Croix, in the Regional Municipality of West Hants.
Upon arrival, the house was fully engulfed in flames. The remains of one adult, who is believed to have been the sole occupant, were found inside the home.
The fire is not believed to be suspicious, however, the investigation is ongoing together with the Nova Scotia Fire Marshal’s Office and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner’s Office. The RCMP and Fire Marshal remain at the scene.
