RCMP investigating after fatal collision
Barrington RCMP is investigating after a fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 330 in North East Point.
At approximately 8:15 p.m. yesterday, police, EHS and fire responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 330 in North East Point. Police learned that a grey car had been travelling north on Highway 330 when it failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway.
The driver and lone occupant of the car, a 24-year-old Barrington Passage man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Highway 330 was closed in both directions for approximately two hours, before one lane was reopened. After several more hours, Highway 330 was reopened in both directions early this morning.
