Police investigate theft and arson of motor vehicle
Police are investigating the theft and subsequent arson of a motor vehicle in Dartmouth last year.
Police received a report of a motor vehicle that had been stolen from a residence on Demetreous Lane in on the evening of November 17.
On the morning of November 18, police received a report that a burned-out vehicle had been located in a parking lot on Lyle Street in Dartmouth. Through the investigation, officers confirmed the burned vehicle was the one that had been stolen and it had been left in the parking lot at approximately 7:30 p.m. on November 17.
Police are releasing images of a suspect who is described as a white man with dark hair and a thin build. At the time, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red and white logo on the front, black pants, black sneakers with a white tread and was carrying a black duffle bag.
