Nova Scotia Health service cancellations and closures due to storm

The winter storm working its way across the province is having an impact on some Nova Scotia Health services and appointments.

Cancellations or closures are posted on Nova Scotia Health’s website. The public can visit nshealth.ca/stormclosures for the latest updates on how the storm is affecting our facilities, services, and programs in your region. Patients and families can contact the specific service/clinical care area if additional information is needed.

We also encourage patient family members and other visitors to exercise caution and avoid travel during the storm if conditions are unsafe. We apologize for the inconvenience.​

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic response already in place, many Nova Scotia Health services are operating by appointment only, therefore people will be contacted directly about any cancellations. Appointments will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
