Significant snow and wind possible later this week.
Locations: Nova Scotia.
Time span: Friday into Saturday morning.
Remarks: The potential exists for the first major winter storm of 2022 later this week and into early this weekend. It is too soon to to give exact timing and precipitation types and amounts at this time, since slight deviations in the track of the storm will ultimately impact snowfall and rainfall totals. Strong winds will most likely accompany this system as well.
The public is advised to monitor future bulletins and forecasts issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada in the coming days.
