Police Investigate Weapons / Stabbing

At 10:47​ p.m. on Saturday, November 27th, 2021, Halifax Regional Police received a report of a weapons complaint where it was reported a man was stabbed in the 1000-2000 block of Brunswick Street in Halifax.

A 24 year old man was located by police and had suffered a stab wound to his upper body. He was treated by EHS and transported to the QEII Health Sciences Centre for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Members of the Patrol Division, General Investigative Section and Forensic Identification Section are continuing with the investigation.

A 26 year old man was taken into custody near the scene and charges are pending.

Police are not looking for any other suspects at this time and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
