Police investigate Pedestrian / Vehicle Injury Collision.

At 5:46​ p.m. on Friday, November 26st, 2021, Halifax Regional Police received a report of a motor vehicle collision that had just occured in the 0-100 block of Sylvia Avenue in Halifax.

A pedestrian on the roadway was struck and injured as a result of the collision.

Police and EHS treated the injured man and EHS has transported him to the QEII Health Sciences Centre. The injuries are considered serious and potentially life threatening at this time.

Members of the General Patrol Division and Forensic Identification Section are continuing with the early stages of the investigation.

The roadway will be blocked for a period of time, but local detours are in place and will not impede traffic considerably.
