Update – Police investigate threats
Halifax Regional Police is investigating a threats call that was received this morning in Halifax.
At approximately 3:40 a.m., police responded to two buildings located in Halifax and Dartmouth in relation to threats made against the locations.
Officers are on scene at addresses in the 100 block of coronation Avenue in Halifax and the 100 Block of Main Street in Dartmouth. Officers are on scene and searching the area with members of the Forensic Identification Section.
At this time we do not believe there to be a threat to public safety, however we are asking the public to remain away from the area to allow for the investigation to take place.
Updates will be provided when they are available.

Update: Threats call
Police have cleared the addresses in the 100 block of Coronation Avenue in Halifax and the 100 block of Main Street in Dartmouth.
Investigators have determined there was no threat to public safety. The investigation is ongoing.

Police investigate bomb threat
Halifax Regional Police is investigating a bomb threat that was received this morning in Dartmouth .
Just after 03:38 a.m., police responded to a building located in the 0-100 block of Main Street for a bomb threat after the building received a threatening phone call from a caller.
Officers are on scene and searching the area with members of the Forensic Identification Section however, nothing suspicious has been located to this point. The affected area has been cordoned off until cleared.
The investigation into this matter is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
