**** Truro Police Release
Today while conducting speed enforcement on South Young St. in Truro, Truro Police charged and 18 year old male with stunting under section 163 of the Motor Vehicle Act. The driver of the vehicle, who is from Truro, was observed doing a speed of 127 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone. The fine for this offence is $2422.50
The driver was also issued a ticket for not producing valid insurance. This fine for this infraction is $1272.50.
His vehicle has been seized pending the outcome of the case.
