Parade in Downtown Halifax
Location: Gottingen, Brunswick, Carmichael and Argyle streets
Date: Sunday, Oct. 17
Time: 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Details: Traffic delays will be in place to facilitate the Halifax Regional Police Fallen Peace Officers Memorial Parade.
Traffic impact: Traffic delays are expected as the parade travels through the community. The parade will begin at 1975 Gottingen Street, head south on Gottingen Street, turn right onto Brunswick Street, turn left onto Carmichael Street, turn right onto Argyle Street and then left into Grand Parade through the St. Paul’s Church driveway.
The event will be escorted and traffic controlled by Halifax Regional Police. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
