Police Investigate Weapons Call (Shooting) – Halifax

At approximately 2:12 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots in the area of Jarvis Lane and Barrington Street, Halifax.​

Callers reported a dark sedan left the area at a high rate of speed.​ Multiple officers responded and located two adult males with non-life-threatening injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. ​ There is no suspect description at this time.

Traffic was blocked on Barrington Street between Duffus Street and Richmond Street for while Forensic Investigators processed the scene.​ Barrington Street has been re-opened.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is on going.​
