Police Investigate Weapons Call (Stabbing) in Dartmouth

On August 29th, 2021, at approximately 2:40 am, Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons complaint at the McDonald’s Restaurant, 588 Portland Street, Dartmouth.​ ​

Several patrol officers attended the area​ and located​ a 57-year-old male victim suffering from a stab wound. Victim was transported to the QE2 Hospital for treatment of his injury, seriousness of which is unknown at this time.

2 suspects were taken into custody at the scene. Police are not looking for any other suspects at this time.

Members from the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Section have been called to assist with this investigation.​
