Police investigate robbery​

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred yesterday in Halifax.

At approximately 3:20 p.m. on August 16, police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred on Pickard Street. A man approached the driver’s side of a delivery truck, produced what appeared to be a handgun and demanded the driver’s property. The man left the area on foot with a quantity of cash and personal property. The driver was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as being approximately 30 years of age, 5’10” and wearing a dark or black face mask, black jacket with possibly a “Sport Check” logo, dark pants and light grey gloves described as being full-length cycling or biking gloves that were plastic in appearance.
