Various Certified 2-in-1 Electric Mowers recalled due to Fire Hazard

Common name: Certified 10a 2-in-1 Electric mower, 14″ and Certified 12a 2-in-1 electric mower, 17″

Product description: This recall involves the Certified 10a 2-in-1 Electric mower, 14″ and Certified 12a 2-in-1 electric mower, 17″.

The affected mower has the following specifications:

Certified 12a 2-in-1 electric mower, 17″ 060-0740

Hazard identified: The motor may overheat, posing a fire hazard. As of June 15, 2021, the company has received 8 reports (6 of model 060-0739 and 2 of model 060-0740) of incidents relating to units overheating and resulting in (or leading to potential of) the unit catching fire, and no reports of injuries.

 

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to any Canadian Tire Store for a full refund.
