Five Years at the Daffodil Garden
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the garden and on Saturday, May 10 there will be an afternoon dedicated to honouring those who have heard the words “you have cancer”. Speakers will include the many survivors, people remembering loved ones, the doctors who treat cancer and community supporters. Music and treats will also be served up as folks are invited to mingle and stroll the pathways and reflect on their own journey with cancer after the planned event is finished.
The Daffodil Garden for Cancer Survivors is the only one of its kind in Atlantic Canada and over 40,000 daffodil bulbs have been planted!
