Police Investigate Weapons Call (Shooting) – Halifax​

At approximately 8:26 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots with a male injured in at the intersection in the 1200 block of Barrington Street, Halifax.​

Multiple officers responded to the scene and located an adult male with life threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.​

A number of officers are currently on scene, including K-9 and members of the Emergency Response Team.​ There is no suspect description at this time.​ ​

Police are requesting the public avoid the area.

Traffic Blocked: All pedestrian and vehicle traffic is blocked in the in 1200 block of Barrington Street.​
