Police Investigate Weapons Call (Shooting) – Halifax
At approximately 8:26 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots with a male injured in at the intersection in the 1200 block of Barrington Street, Halifax.
Multiple officers responded to the scene and located an adult male with life threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
A number of officers are currently on scene, including K-9 and members of the Emergency Response Team. There is no suspect description at this time.
Police are requesting the public avoid the area.
Traffic Blocked: All pedestrian and vehicle traffic is blocked in the in 1200 block of Barrington Street.
