Tomorrow is National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day and RCMPNS will be on the roads to protect all road users.

In 2020, RCMPNS officers laid 986 charges for driving impaired by alcohol or drugs. As long as people choose to get behind the wheel impaired, we will continue to be on the roads 24/7/365 to detect impaired drivers and remove them from roadways.

Did you know? Since Dec. 2018, Canadian police can conduct roadside breath alcohol testing without suspicion of alcohol consumption, when a motorist is lawfully stopped by police. Help protect everyone by always driving sober. #NRSW2021 #NotWorthTheRisk
