Police seek potential witnesses
Police are seeking potential witnesses of an incident that occurred at a skatepark at the Halifax Common yesterday.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. police responded to a report of a weapons complaint at the skate park located in the 1800 block of Bell Road. A youth at the park had shot at other people who were in the area with a pellet pistol.
A 14-year-old youth was arrested today and is scheduled to appear in youth court at a later date to face charges of:
- Assault with a weapon (x 3)
- Possession of a weapons for dangerous purpose
- Failure to comply with conditions of a release order (x 2)
