Pause on routine blood collection in Central and Eastern zones

Health And Wellness The Covid Chronicle

**** NSHA Media Release

Due to the high volume of COVID tests being processed by Nova Scotia Health laboratories, we are asking people in the Central and Eastern zones not to book appointments for routine blood collection and to cancel their booked appointments for routine blood collection in the next two weeks.

People whose tests are required for immediate diagnosis or management of chronic illness, including those receiving chemotherapy, should continue with their appointments.

Appointments can be cancelled through the link included in your appointment confirmation.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We will provide an update when we can resume routine blood collection.
